Our Mission
To empower children from birth through age 17 by providing mentorship, essential resources, educational opportunities, and community support that help them overcome adversity and reach their full potential. Every program we create is designed to strengthen confidence, encourage resilience, and remind every child they are never alone.

MEET OUR FOUNDER
James Rice-Peña
Unbreakable Kids was founded by James RicePeña, whose own childhood in foster care inspired a lifelong commitment to helping children facing trauma, instability, and uncertainty. Having experienced firsthand what it feels like to grow up without consistent support, James turned those experiences into a mission to create opportunities, hope, and lasting encouragement for children who need it most.
Today, Unbreakable Kids is more than a nonprofit. It is a promise that every child deserves someone who believes in them and stands beside them as they grow.
